Information provided by email

When you send an email, you provide your email address, message contents and any name, other information or attachments you include. We use this information to review your enquiry and respond. A reply address is needed to answer you. For an initial enquiry, a short description of your situation is sufficient.

Purposes and legal bases

  • Answering general questions about the website or its activities: the controller’s legitimate interest in maintaining business correspondence and responding to enquiries, under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
  • Taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, or performing a contract with you: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Correspondence with a company representative may instead be based on a legitimate interest in maintaining business relationships.
  • Keeping required contractual and accounting records: compliance with legal obligations under Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.
  • Forwarding an enquiry to another provider when you separately agree to this: your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.

Who can access the information

Enquiries are currently read personally by the project owner on behalf of ELDI Capital Oy; no other staff are currently involved in handling this mailbox. Messages are not automatically forwarded to Torgex, WOBiapp, Osakkaaksi or Kymppirakenne. If sharing with another provider is needed, we will ask for your consent first. You may contact the relevant provider directly yourself.

Email is provided by Zoner Oy, Business ID 1985221-1, which is also the selected website hosting provider. Technical providers may process data as part of their services and applicable contractual arrangements. The absence of automatic forwarding to other projects does not mean that the email or hosting provider does not process data.

How long correspondence is kept

Ordinary correspondence is kept for 12 months after the matter is resolved, then deleted. This is a separate correspondence period; it is not the analytics retention period. The period starts when discussion of the particular enquiry has ended. Required contractual and accounting records are stored separately for the periods required by applicable law. The operator carries out this retention process; the website does not manage your email application or delete messages automatically.

Your rights

You can request access to your data, correction, erasure or restriction of processing. Where applicable, you can object to processing or request data portability. If processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing. The rights and any exceptions depend on the legal basis and circumstances.

Technical data and cookies

This website may use optional Google Analytics 4 (GA4) only after a positive “Allow analytics” choice. If you decline, Google Analytics is not loaded and data is not sent to Google. The optional analytics uses your consent as its basis. The choice is stored for 180 days; you can change or withdraw it through the “Analytics settings” link in the footer. After consent, GA4 may set analytics cookies including _ga and _ga_* for up to 180 days; cookie expiry updates (cookie_update) are disabled. The separate choice storage also lasts 180 days.

After consent, GA4 receives a reduced page path and referrer without query parameters or fragments. The service_click event contains a category for one of four services: Torgex, WOBiapp, Osakkaaksi or Kymppirakenne, and the service’s public destination hostname. The contact_click event contains only the category service or website_operator. Email addresses, message text and the full link URL are not sent to analytics. Advertising storage, Google Signals and advertising personalisation are disabled.

The analytics provider is Google Ireland Limited. Google may process request data, including the IP address, under its own terms. We do not state that this processing is fully anonymised or takes place only in the EU; applicable international transfers are addressed by Google’s terms and safeguards. See the Google Privacy Policy and Google’s information about data from sites and apps. In the GA4 interface, event-data retention is set to 2 months. User-data retention is also set to 2 months; reset on new activity is disabled, and the change takes effect within 24 hours. Aggregated standard reports are not covered by this setting. The analytics section was updated 18 October 2026.

The hosting provider may process technical request information such as IP address, time, requested address and browser information to operate and secure the server. The actual logs, retention periods and processing arrangements depend on the hosting service.

Zoner’s contractual terms and data processing agreement describe technical processing, subprocessors and safeguards for applicable international transfers. The specific arrangements depend on the service ordered. We do not state that every type of technical processing takes place exclusively in Finland or the EU.

External websites

When you choose to follow an external link, that website’s own terms and privacy policy apply. BusinessInFinland does not pass the contents of your email through referral links.
