Who is the first customer for your business in Finland?
Instead of saying “we work with everyone in Finland”, describe one situation: a small company needs regular premises maintenance, a manufacturer needs a dependable supplier, or a consumer needs help with a specific task. These customers have different requirements, budgets and decision processes.
Choose a group you can actually serve. State the problem, what is included, where you work and how the customer receives the result. This makes both a conversation and a service page more useful.
Test the offer before major spending
Speak with potential customers before investing heavily. Ask how they solve the problem now, what is difficult, who approves a purchase and which evidence they need from a supplier. “Would you buy this?” is usually less informative than discussing the last real purchase.
- Does the problem occur regularly or only once?
- How do customers compare offers?
- Is the barrier price, trust, language, timing or documentation?
- Can the first engagement be a small, clearly defined scope?
Choose channels for the Finnish market
Choose the channel around the customer. A local service may need a clear page showing its area, recommendations and professional contacts. Business-to-business supply may depend on industry events, direct proposals and procurement requirements. A digital service needs a concrete use case and feedback from early users.
Start with one or two channels and record which enquiries arrive. Views do not prove that the offer is clear or profitable; the useful evidence is the path from first interest to an agreed order.
Give customers reasons to decide
Prepare a short company description, service scope, pricing process, timing and contact method. Show real work only when you have the right to publish it. Do not compensate for limited experience with invented reviews, customer logos or a guarantee of results.
Use language your audience understands. A Russian page may serve part of the market, while a wider Finnish market may need Finnish or English content. The translation must preserve the conditions and meaning, not only the headings.
Use the first order to test the whole chain
Before work begins, agree the result, scope, price, timing, responsibilities and process for changes. Compare expected and actual costs, including sales time, travel, purchasing, delivery and corrections. Do not calculate profit only from the invoice total.
After completion, ask what was clear and what caused difficulty. That feedback can become the basis for repeat sales: a clear service, a repeatable result and a calm way of working.
Discussing a sales problem with Torgex
Separate the causes. The wrong audience requires a different channel; an unclear offer requires a better explanation; an expensive delivery process requires a model review. A price cut does not solve every problem. Check where customers stop and whether the reason repeats.
For practical questions about a business situation, you can review Torgex. Confirm the consultation language and scope first. If you plan to offer services through WOBiapp, remember that the platform is still preparing for launch and does not currently confirm available orders or registration.
